Karnal, July 16:- In view of Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini's scheduled visit to Karnal on July 18, the district administration has issued necessary orders regarding security arrangements. To maintain law and order and ensure VVIP security, District Magistrate Dr. Anand Kumar Sharma has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, and the Drone Rules, 2021.
According to the orders issued by the District Magistrate, a one-kilometer radius around the Chief Minister's arrival points and event venues has been temporarily declared a 'Red Zone'. There will be a complete ban on the operation of drones, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), or any other flying objects within this area.
The orders clarify that if any person is found operating a drone or other flying object in the restricted area, or violates these orders, legal action will be taken against them in accordance with the law under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. This restriction will remain in effect from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on July 17 and 18.
It is noteworthy that on July 18, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini will interact with Station House Officers (SHOs) from across the state at an interactive session organized at the Haryana Police Academy in Madhuban. More than 600 male and female SHOs will participate in this event. The objective of the program is to make community policing more effective and citizen-centric, and to strengthen the police system through dialogue with police officers.
