Hoshiarpur: A special and inspiring program was organized at St. Joseph's Convent School, Mukerian, on the theme "Values ??for a Changing World." The program aimed to raise awareness among students, parents, and teachers about changing social, technological, and ethical values.
On this occasion, Ashwani Kumar Kundal, District Coordinator and Mass Counselor of the Government Food Craft Institute, Hoshiarpur, participated as the chief guest. The chief guest was warmly welcomed by the school's Director Xavier, Principal Nisha, Vice Principal Beena, Madam Jyoti, Satnam Singh, Navdeep Singh, and the entire staff.
During the program, the school students presented various theme-based programs and skits on the topic "Values ??for a Changing World." The students' impressive acting and meaningful presentations captivated everyone. A large number of students' parents were also present at the program, which further boosted the children's enthusiasm and confidence.
In his address, Chief Guest Ashwani Kumar Kundal, while addressing the parents, said that in today's changing AI (Artificial Intelligence) era, it is extremely important to prioritize courses according to children's interests for their all-round development. He said that the present time is the age of skill development, and providing information about skill-based education and courses is the need of the hour for the bright future of children.
He further informed that the Food Craft Institute, Hoshiarpur, established in District Hoshiarpur since 2011 by the Department of Tourism, Government of Punjab, and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, is conducting diploma and 6-month skill development courses related to food training for students from various states.
The institute also provides placement facilities to the students. Mr. Kundal said that this institute is proving to be a boon for the students, and interested students can get better employment opportunities in India and abroad through these courses.
At the end of the program, the school management thanked the chief guest and reiterated its commitment to organizing such informative programs in the future as well.
