Una, May 6: India's apex judiciary is organizing special Lok Adalats (People's Courts) with the objective of ensuring shared justice and taking justice to the doorsteps of the people. This initiative is being conducted under the banner of 'Samadhan Samaroh 2026' (Resolution Celebration). Its goal is to resolve disputes across the country through mediation. This information was provided by Shikha Lakhanpal, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Una.
She stated that this campaign commenced on April 21, 2026, and will conclude with the special Lok Adalats scheduled to be held on August 21, 22, and 23, 2026. The primary objective of these special Lok Adalats is to resolve long-pending cases in the Supreme Court through the mutual consent and settlement of both parties involved.
Participation Available via Video Conferencing:-
The Secretary has appealed to all lawyers, litigants, and concerned parties to actively participate in this campaign to find a permanent resolution to their disputes. Litigants may either appear in person at the court to settle their cases or join online via video conferencing.
She further informed that applicant parties and their lawyers may apply by filling out the Google Form available at the link https://forms.gle/pRWbif6wAPrcgMsZ8 by May 31. Additionally, this link is also available on the Supreme Court's official website: https://www.sci.gov.in.
