Patiala, August 16:- Conducting and listening to Shri Shiv Mahapuran Katha especially in the month of Sawan is of very beneficial importance. This idea was expressed by Pandit Ashwani Sharma.
With the cooperation of Sudhar Sabha Shri Kedarnath Ji Reg0 and devotees, Shri Shiv Mahapuran Katha is being conducted at the ancient temple Shri Kedarnath Ji from August 16 to August 24 every day from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. On this occasion, Katha will be narrated by Katha reciter Acharya Ravi Krishna Ji Maharaj.
On the occasion of the Katha, a Kalash Yatra was taken out from the temple at 8:00 am on Sunday, August 16. 51 women participated in this Yatra carrying Kalash on their heads and playing band instruments. Office bearers and members of Sudhar Sabha also participated in the Yatra in large numbers. The Kalash Yatra passed through various colonies and reached the temple again, where the Kalash were installed. On this occasion, great enthusiasm was seen among all the members. The colony residents also appreciated this initiative and said that such an event has been organized for the first time.
On August 24, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, a complete Aahuti, Satsang and Bhandare will be organized.
On this occasion, the founder Satnam Hasija said that last week he received 4-5 calls from Sadhvi Daya Didi from Ludhiana. He said that Sadhvi Ji appreciated the service being done by Sudhar Sabha at the ancient temple of Sri Kedarnath Ji and said that he had earlier gone to Patiala to perform Katha 2-3 times and now he wants to come and perform Katha at the ancient temple of Sri Kedarnath Ji, where the huge idol is installed and which is located on the main road.
Satnam Hasija said that he told Sadhvi Ji that at this time a Kavar Shivir has been set up and all the members of Sudhar Sabha are engaged in day and night service. He invited Sadhvi Ji to come to the temple once. After this, Sadhvi Ji reached the temple at 2:00 pm on August 9 and spoke to all the members. The members said that it is a great fortune for them to have such a religious function in the month of Sawan.
He said that there is a group of 6-7 people with Sadhvi Ji and they have been asked to stay for 9 days. Sudhar Sabha General Secretary Surinder Pathak Ji agreed and said that he will make all the arrangements for accommodation and food during the 9 days. He said that this is a very big service and Bhole Baba is very kind. All the work is being done under his umbrella and God himself is getting all the service done.
Satnam Hasija said that the Kavar Shivir organized by the Sudhar Sabha was also organized on a very large scale. Many Kavarians honored the members of the Sudhar Sabha and highly appreciated the service being rendered by the Sabha. The Kavarians said that they had never seen such a spirit of service before. Finally, the founder Satnam Hasija thanked all the office bearers and members of the Sudhar Sabha and said that may Bhole Baba Ji fulfill the wishes of everyone and grant the strength to all the servants to serve more.
