Karnal, July 4: A special class was organized at the Mata Jijabai Swaroop Nikhar Training Center—run jointly by Seva Bharati (Karnal) and Bharat Vikas Parishad (Karn Branch) at the local Sevashree Ashram—to make the women and girls undergoing training there more skilled, self-confident, and self-reliant.
The team from Bharat Vikas Parishad (Karn Branch)—led by President Dr. Rachna Chaudhary and the project's patron, Smt. Jyoti Chaudhary—arranged a special lecture by Haryana's renowned grooming and styling expert, Tara Kataria, at the center. With a warm and approachable demeanor, Tara Kataria shared detailed insights into modern methodologies, techniques, and practical experiences regarding grooming and styling. The trainees listened with great focus and enthusiasm, resolving to hone their skills further.
Highlighting the importance of values ??(*sanskar*) in life, Dr. Rachna Chaudhary explained that along with skills, it is excellent values ??that earn an individual respect and success in society.
Smt. Jyoti Chaudhary, the project's patron, offered several useful suggestions to make the grooming and styling project more effective and advanced, ensuring that a greater number of women could benefit from it in the future.
Kapil Atreja, a member of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, spoke on the subject of self-reliance, urging the women to become self-sufficient through their skills and hard work, and to play a significant role in nation-building.
On this occasion, Surendra Goyal, the District Coordinator for Seva Bharati, provided a detailed overview of the organization's service activities in the fields of education, health, self-reliance, and social harmony, inspiring everyone to bring about social change through service.
Social worker Naresh Mata shared information about Seva Bharati’s *Bal Sanskar Kendras* (Children's Value-Education Centers), highlighting their objectives and their vital role in society.
