Hoshiarpur:- The three-day shopping and lifestyle exhibition ‘Wakhra Swag’ organized by RJ Creators presented a strong example of social unity by bringing social service, administration and industry on a common platform in Hoshiarpur. With Sonalika as the main sponsor, this mega event in collaboration with Punjab Tourism and District Administration Hoshiarpur was successfully held from 26 to 28 December at City Center Hoshiarpur.
The special thing about this event was that various social works including the ‘Sanjeevani’ initiative being run by Sonalika under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) were prominently presented. Under ‘Sanjeevani’, information was given to the people about the efforts being made for health, human service and helping the needy through Amritam Wellness Retreats, Sanjeevani Healing Center, Sanjeevani Sharanam RRM Holistic Center, RRM Autism Therapeutic School, I Love Hoshiarpur and Sonalika Winter Care Drive, which was greatly appreciated by the public present.
During the closing ceremony, District Magistrate Hoshiarpur Ashika Jain said that ‘Vakhra Swag’ is not just a shopping event, but a strong platform to connect the society. Initiatives like Sonalika’s ‘Sanjeevani’ show that the industry can also lead in fulfilling social responsibilities. Such events provide new direction and energy to social service organizations. Stalls related to fashion, jewelry, food, automobile and lifestyle remained the center of attraction for the people in the exhibition.
Along with this, the stalls of social service organizations did an important job of connecting the common people with service work. A large number of families, youth and social activists participated in this program. RJ Creators Coordinator Dr. Pankaj Shiv said that the purpose of this event was not only to promote business, but also to provide a common platform to organizations related to social service.
