Hisar: Under the joint aegis of Matrubhumi Seva Sangh, Gau Seva Activity, and Keshav Madhav Dham Trust of Kabrel, Shrimad Gau Bhagwat Katha was ceremoniously commenced at the Saraswati College premises. On this occasion, hundreds of devotees from different regions participated enthusiastically. Katha Vachika Vidushi Bela Pareek Didi explained the purpose of Shrimad Gau Bhagwat Katha while acquainting devotees with the glory of Gau Mata. She said that our pilgrimage sites, festivals, and mythological stories are deeply connected with Gau Mata. Religious scriptures bear witness that Lord Shri Krishna himself grazed cows, and countless devotees celebrate Gopashtami every year with great enthusiasm. By understanding the episode of Govardhan Parvat, the importance of Gau Mata can be easily realized.
During the discourse, Vidushi Bela Pareek said that for health and happiness, a person should adopt a cow-based lifestyle. She stated that those who regularly use Panchgavya products are living examples of its benefits. She said that only a fortunate person gets the opportunity to listen to Gau Katha. In fact, Gau Katha elevates life spiritually, is beneficial for all, enhances virtue, and is like nectar.
During the Shrimad Gau Bhagwat Katha being held at Saraswati College located on Tosham Road in Hisar, Akhil Bharatiya Gau Seva Coordinator Ajit Mahapatra, retired senior officer of FCI Deshraj Manchanda, devoted Gau bhakt and social worker Bajrang Jindal, Gau Seva Activity District Coordinator and State Gau Katha Head Rajveer, and Kamal Sarraf lit the ceremonial lamp. On this occasion, organizing committee’s arrangement heads Vikas Dhal, Vijay Dhal, and Deepak Dhal along with their families were present. The stage was conducted by Neeraj Kumar Gupta. Co-arrangement heads Randhir Jhajhadiya, Sanjay, Pawan Bindal, Nardev Sharma, and Rajesh Kumar Gautam were also specially present.
An eight-day Shri Surbhi Gau Mahayagya and seven-day Shrimad Gau Bhagwat Katha are being organized at Saraswati College of Education premises. A grand Kalash Yatra was taken out in the morning for this Anushthan, in which thousands of devotees participated. National President of Matrubhumi Seva Sangh and Katha Vachika Vidushi Bela Pareek Didi has taken a resolve of chanting 13.25 crore Shri Surbhi Mantras. Under this resolve, the first phase of the Anushthan was successfully completed in Mahendragarh. Now, the second phase of Gau Shakti Jagran Anushthan has begun at Saraswati College. Here, Shri Surbhi Gau Mahayagya and chanting of 1.25 crore Shri Surbhi Mantras will be performed. Along with this, a 108 Kundiya Dashansh Mahayagya will be conducted daily.
In Gau Katha, on 25 March, the episode of Samudra Manthan and the manifestation of Kamdhenu Gau Mata will be presented. On 26 March, the tableau of Shri Krishna’s birth celebration will be the main attraction. On 27 March, the origin of Ksheer Sindhu, Krishna’s childhood pastimes, Govardhan Puja, and the importance of cow dung will be explained. On 28 March, discourses based on Shri Krishna Dwarkadhish character (Rukmini Mangal) will be held, and on 29 March, Sudama Charitra, Gau Seva, Gau Puja, Gau Daan, and the importance of Gau Navratra will be explained. On 30 March, after the Purnahuti Gau Mahayagya at 9 AM, a community feast will begin.
