Patiala, June 1: A meeting of the Tarksheel Society Patiala unit was held today at the residence of Dr. Anil Kumar in Anand Nagar-B. The meeting was presided over by Satish Alowal, the Finance Department Head of the Patiala unit. Due to the unit's Organizational Head, Shri Puran Singh, being away in Canada for six months, Shri Janak Raj was unanimously appointed as the new Organizational Department Head of the unit. Shri Ram Kumar Dhakadba, Sneh Lata, Ram Singh Bang, Inderjit Kaur, Kulwant Kaur, Preetma Sharma, Davinder Singh, and Surjit Singh also participated in the meeting and took part in the discussions.
Several important decisions were taken on this occasion, and the state committee report was read by Kulwant Kaur. To increase the circulation of the Tarksheel magazine, Shri Janak Raj suggested several new methods. He proposed the idea of creating PDFs of special articles from the magazine and broadcasting them via social media with voice-over backgrounds, a suggestion which was appreciated by all the members. In the meeting, everyone was urged to increase the unit's membership so that superstitions and unscientific ideas could be eradicated more effectively.
