Chandigarh/Jhajjar, 2 December 2025:- On the occasion of World AIDS Day, Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh Haryana, in collaboration with Indepth Vision Foundation, Seva Trust UK India and Swasth Multispeciality Hospital, successfully organised a blood donation camp and health check-up camp at Sunaro Wali Dharamshala, Jhajjar.
Disclosing this information, Dr Indu Bansal, founder and state president of Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh Haryana, said that Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh Haryana has become a living and vibrant example of social service.
Dr Bansal informed that a total of 22 units of blood were collected during the camp. Local residents participated enthusiastically and demonstrated their sensitivity and responsibility towards social concerns.
Newly appointed district president of Shramik Journalist Association Haryana Jhajjar, Lalit Kumar, along with the entire district executive committee, thanked all the blood donors and members for participating in the camp and wished them a bright future. Manoj Verma from Shyam Seva Samiti Saturday Monthly Kirtan, Manoj Kataria, Dharmveer (Gas Agency Director Vidya Devi), Naresh Dalal (Director of Naresh Dalal Hospital), district councillor Amit alias Bhoolu Bhadani and district youth president Amarjeet Singh also participated in the camp and presented badges to the blood donors. All of them contributed to the success of the programme.
Dr Bansal said that detailed information was provided during the programme regarding awareness about AIDS and cancer. Experts educated people about the symptoms of HIV/AIDS, prevention measures, the need for testing, early symptoms of cancer and the importance of timely check-ups.
Dr Bansal informed that the team from Health Multispeciality Hospital Jhajjar provided free health check-ups including blood pressure and sugar tests along with general health advice, and free medicines were also distributed to patients.
Dr Bansal said that Shramik Journalist Association Haryana will continue organising such camps. Present on this occasion from the medicine department were Dr Wajib, Dr Priya, Preeti and Pooja; from BP and sugar testing department Savita and Sarita; and from the support team Rajbir, Aman, Dharminder, Neeraj and Manjeet.
