Patiala:- Shiv Sena Sher-e-Hind held a special meeting in a chamber at the District Courts under the chairmanship of District President Gurjot Goldy. National President Baljit Singh Dhillon and National Legal Adviser Advocate Vinod Kumar Dhadda attended the meeting. Detailed discussions were held on renovation work related to the beautification of Sri Kali Mata Temple.

On this occasion, Shiv Sena Sher-e-Hind National President Baljit Singh Dhillon and Legal Adviser Advocate Vinod Kumar appealed to AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and the Punjab Government to provide funds for the temple’s renovation. They stated that the money spent on the beautification of Sri Kali Mata Temple so far had come from devotees in the form of offerings and donations to Mata Ji’s golak (donation box). They alleged that neither Kejriwal nor the Bhagwant Mann government had contributed anything towards the temple so far. Therefore, they demanded that the Mann government allocate ₹200 crore for the temple’s renovation.

They said that the beautification work should not be carried out in haste. They also alleged that there was no information about the chairman appointed by the government for the temple and that a person from Delhi, considered close to Arvind Kejriwal, was overseeing the temple’s affairs.

They further said that the sacred Navratri festival of Mata Ji was about to begin and urged the administration and the temple advisory committee to take special measures to protect devotees from theft and alleged exploitation by prasad sellers and the prasad mafia.

Those present at the meeting included National Vice President Raj Singh, Advocate Gurpreet Kapoor, Advocate Anil Sehgal, Advocate Surinder Chauhan, Advocate Harvinder Ahluwalia, Advocate Shashi Pal Verma and Advocate Prem Kumar, among others. They also felicitated Shiv Sena Sher-e-Hind National President Baljit Singh Dhillon.
