Hoshiarpur:- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain has issued an order here today, banning the movement of tippers in view of the Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh National Marathon to be held at Mahilpur on March 22. According to the orders issued by the Deputy Commissioner, this ban will be in effect from 6 pm on March 21 to 6 pm on March 22.
According to the orders issued, various cabinet ministers, MLAs, VIPs and state-level athletes are participating in the National Marathon starting from Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur, in view of which the movement of tippers has been banned.
This ban will remain in effect on Jejon to Mahilpur Road, Nangal to Garhshankar Road and Garhshankar Road to Sri Anandpur Sahib Road and the movement of tippers/trucks carrying mining materials on these routes is prohibited.
