Garhshankar 2nd September:- The Post Graduate English Department of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur here organized a seminar on the topic of 'Study and Teaching in the Era of Artificial Intelligence' with the aim of creating new interests in research and study among the students. Advocate Rubal and senior teacher Jaswinder Jassal participated as resource persons on this occasion, while young social worker Balwinder Kumar Manoulian was present as the chief guest.
College Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh shared the welcome words and invited the students to join the new interests of study in the era of mass intellectualism. Prof. Tajinder Singh, Head of the English Department, introduced the guest speakers and said that in the era of Artificial Intelligence, such a dialogue regarding study and teaching creates new research interests among the students.
On this occasion, the students present Srishti, Gurpreet Kaur, Harleen, Ehsaas, Sakina, Jasmine and Gurleen Kaur participated in a lively dialogue. The students told about the new changes coming in the field of study, research and teaching with AI. In the serious dialogue, the students discussed many good and bad aspects of Artificial Intelligence. On this occasion, Advocate Rubal and Jaswinder Jassal expressed their views on the reasonable combination of AI and human intelligence.
They said that instead of opposing or supporting artificial intelligence, there is a need to move towards human-friendly development with its coexistence. Chief guest Balwinder Kumar appreciated the participation of the students in such a dialogue. The guests present and the students were honored. The proceedings of the stage were conducted by Prof. Rukmani. Teachers and students of the department were present on the occasion.
