Garhshankar, January 27:- Honorable SDM Garhshankar, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Gaur. Attended the sub-division level Republic Day function at the ground of Government Senior Secondary School Garhshankar as the chief guest and hoisted the national flag. He inspected the parade and took the salute. While addressing, he congratulated all the countrymen on the 77th Republic Day and shed light on the sacrifices of the martyrs and asked them to contribute in protecting freedom and realizing their dreams.
The special guests at the event included Aam Aadmi Party's Halqa Sangathan Incharge and OSD, Honorable Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, Market Committee Chairman Baldeep Singh Saini, PA Harjinder Singh Dhanjal, Gurlal Saila, Somnath Bangar etc. On this occasion, students of various schools and police contingents performed a grand parade. The school students captivated everyone with their patriotic and cultural programs. The chief guest and special guests honored the families of freedom fighters and individuals who have made significant contributions in various fields.
