Ratia, 30 July:- As per the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Vivek Bharti, in the Samadhan Camp organized at the sub-division, SDM Surendra Singh seriously listened to the complaints of the general public and instructed the officers of the concerned departments to ensure their time-bound and quality resolution.
In the camp, a resident of village Tamaspura complained that the meter of his domestic electricity connection has been stolen, but despite giving a complaint, necessary action has not been taken. The SDM sent this matter to the SDO of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN), Ratia, and instructed him to take prompt action as per rules and submit a report.
In another complaint, a resident of village Saikhupur Sotar demanded to connect a new pipeline from the main pipeline of the water works to provide drinking water facility. SDM Surendra Singh sent this case to BDPO, Ratia for necessary inquiry and action and instructed to resolve this matter of public interest on priority basis.
He said that the purpose of Samadhan Camp is to ensure quick, transparent and effective resolution of problems of common citizens. He instructed the officers that every complaint should be disposed of within the stipulated time limit and the complainants should also be provided with information about the action taken. He said that any kind of negligence in matters related to public interest will not be tolerated and all departments should provide quick relief to the people with mutual coordination.
