SBS School Students Put Up Outstanding Performance in 70th Zonal Sports Competition Organized by Punjab School Education Board

Garhshankar, 9 September:- Students of SBS Model High School, Sadarpur (Garhshankar), participated in the 70th Zonal Sports Competition organized by the Punjab School Education Board under the training of coaches Kulveer Kaur, Shahid Rashid Yato and Aman Singh. The players secured first position in both the Under-19 boys’ and girls’ categories of the tug-of-war competitions.
In chess and kho-kho, the Under-19 boys and girls secured first position. The Under-17 boys also excelled in badminton and secured first position.
Similarly, the Under-14 girls’ kho-kho team secured second position, while third position was achieved in badminton and volleyball.
At the district level, the school’s Under-19 girls’ kho-kho team secured second position, while the boys secured third position in chess in the above-mentioned category.
In athletics, the players brought laurels to the school by winning 15 gold, 26 silver and 10 bronze medals.
On this occasion, the school management and Principal Smt. Jaspreet Kaur congratulated the students and parents and extended their best wishes for the future.
