Hansi: – Today, the Prakash Parv of Sarbans Dani Tenth Guru Gobind Singh was celebrated with great devotion at Gurdwara Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, Sabzi Mandi, Hansi. Satwant Singh Ghai, secretary of the Gurdwara Management Committee, said that despite the morning chill, the devotees enthusiastically participated in the early morning processions (Prabhat Pheris) that had started on December 17th, culminating in today's procession with a large turnout. After the completion of the Akhand Path (continuous recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib) at 9 am, a grand Gurmat congregation commenced. 
Bhai Satwinder Singh captivated the congregation with his melodious rendition of the hymn "Waho Waho Gobind Singh." Following this, the Panthic Dhadi Jatha from Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Amritsar, comprising Bhai Raghubir Singh Khalsa and his associates Bibi Manjit Kaur, Bibi Sukhvir Kaur, and Bibi Gurvinder Kaur, enthralled the congregation with their melodious singing of poems depicting events from Guru Gobind Singh's life. 
Katha Vachak (preacher) Bhai Navjot Singh from Gurdaspur, Punjab, narrated the history of Guru Gobind Singh, describing how at the age of nine, he requested his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur, to sacrifice himself in Delhi, and how he sacrificed his two elder sons in the Battle of Chamkaur and his two younger sons by having them bricked alive in Sirhind, thus sacrificing everything for the protection of the country and religion. 
MLA Vinod Bhayana, Dinesh Bhutani, Rahul Makkar, Praveen Ilawadi, and Bhuvnesh Ilawadi were present at the event and extended their greetings to the congregation on the occasion of Guru Parv. Dinesh Dhawan, Chairman of the Gurdwara Management Committee, and President Subhash Girdhar thanked the assembled congregation. Besides them, General Secretary Ram Prakash Paruthi, Satwant Singh Ghai, Ranjit Singh Dhingra, Jitendra Pal Dhingra, Balwant Bhayana, Joginder Singh Bhayana, Munish Pahwa, Madan Kathuria and other members were also present.
