Santoshgarh, May 20 (Rajveer Chopra):— The water cooler installed at the Santoshgarh Bus Stand has been out of order for several days, causing significant hardship to passengers and locals amidst the scorching heat. Resentment is brewing among the public as the unit is dispensing normal water instead of chilled water.
Locals point out that a large number of passengers arrive at the bus stand daily, and access to cold drinking water is an absolute necessity for travelers during the summer season. Consequently, the malfunctioning water cooler is leaving people without any respite from the heat.
Passengers emphasized that during intense heat, it is crucial to have proper arrangements for cold water at public places to provide people with some relief from the heat. Several passengers have urged the administration to resolve this issue promptly.
Locals have appealed to the concerned department and the administration to ensure the immediate repair of the water cooler so that passengers and the general public do not have to face any inconvenience. Additionally, demands have been raised to ensure the regular inspection and maintenance of other facilities at the bus stand.
