Chandigarh/Manimajra:- The Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh has started the repair work on the road leading to the Police Station in Manimajra Town. Media in-charge Rameshwar Giri said that the repair work of this road, which has been damaged for a long time, has started and after the repair, the main road will be rebuilt.
Rameshwar Giri said that the condition of these roads had deteriorated due to which the local people and shopkeepers were facing a lot of problems. The people of the trade union town protested about this problem and Swayam Giri also met the municipal commissioner and demanded to solve the problem immediately.
Giri said that the commissioner has started the road repair work fulfilling the promise made to the public. He thanked the municipal commissioner and the former mayor, as well as all the shopkeepers who raised their voices and supported the campaign.
Giri said that after the construction of the roads, the citizens will get a lot of relief and the traffic in the area will also be smooth. He expressed the hope that the Municipal Corporation will continue to give priority to the development of Manimajra area in the future.
