Karnal, October 11: The Haryana government, through the Social Justice and Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare, and Antyodaya (Sewa) departments, has launched the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana, a scheme to provide social and economic respect to mothers, sisters, and daughters. To avail the benefits of this scheme, eligible women must register on the Lado Laxmi app. This information was provided by Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh.
**Under the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana, eligible women will receive a monthly benefit of ?2,100.
Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh stated that under the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana, eligible women will receive a monthly benefit of ?2,100, unless the beneficiary voluntarily opts out. To avail the benefits, it is mandatory for eligible women to register on the app. At the time of registration, the applicant must bring their Aadhaar card, mobile number, bank account number, Haryana residential certificate, electricity bill, and Aadhaar cards of other family members.
**Eligibility Criteria for the Scheme:
1. The woman must be 23 years of age or older.
2. Belong to a family whose verified annual family income does not exceed ?100,000, as per the Family Information Database Repository (FIDR).
3. She or her husband (if the woman has married into Haryana from another state) must be a resident of Haryana and have resided in the state for the last 15 years as of the date of application.
4. Women already receiving benefits under the following social security schemes will also be eligible under this scheme:
5. Financial assistance for stage III and IV cancer patients.
6. Financial assistance for women suffering from rare diseases.
7. Scheme for those suffering from hemophilia, thalassemia, and sickle cell anemia.
8. There is no restriction on the number of eligible women in a family to avail the benefits of this scheme.
