Hoshiarpur: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Kulwant Singh Saini, Patron of the Municipal Action Committee, to discuss the assurances given by the Punjab government on May 21. During the meeting, the employees expressed strong displeasure over the government's functioning, stating that despite asking for a one-month time frame, no meeting has been convened yet.
Kulwant Singh Saini said that the government has shared no information since May 21. He noted that the government had promised to resolve their issues through four rounds of meetings, but not even a single meeting has taken place so far. The employees present at the meeting warned that if their demands are not resolved in a timely manner, they will be forced to launch another strike, for which the Punjab government will be held fully responsible. Somnath Aadiya, Vikramjit Bunty, Parveen Kumar, Lalit Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Ishwar Saini, Amandeep, Paramjit, and Naresh Kumar, among other members, were present on the occasion.
