Ratia, April 7: Gurnoor Ginni of the Shri Gumtsar Academy in Ratia delivered a stellar performance to secure a bronze medal at the 15th Haryana State Junior Athletics Championship, held at the Karan Stadium in Karnal. In this championship, a total of three athletes from the district collectively won one gold, one silver, and one bronze medal. Upon her arrival at the academy, the victorious athlete, Gurnoor, was accorded a grand welcome.
Hardeep Singh Bola, Director and Coach at the Gumtsar Academy, stated that Gurnoor won the bronze medal in the 5-kilometer race walk event at the 15th Haryana State Junior Athletics Championship with an impressive performance. He further noted that another athlete from the academy, Khushdeep Kaur, also participated in the same competition and secured the fourth position.
Both athletes are now set to participate in a competition scheduled to be held in Bangalore, commencing on April 24. Hardeep Singh extended his best wishes to both athletes for a bright future. The academy's female coach, Chhinderpal Kaur, expressed her hope that by working even harder, the athletes would deliver an even better performance in the future. Other athletes and members of the academy also extended their best wishes to both competitors.
