Ratia November 13:- Under the leadership and guidelines of Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain, IPS, drug de-addiction and awareness activities are being continuously conducted across the district under the campaign “Operation Jeevan Jyoti”. In this regard, the team of Ratia City Police Station organized a special awareness program at the city bus stand and college campus, in which the youth and students were encouraged to stay away from drugs.
During this program, the police team gave detailed information to the students about the dangers of drugs and its mental and physical side effects. They also told that drugs not only affect the health and future of the individual, but also prove to be destructive for the family and society. The students were asked to say “no” to drugs and create awareness against it.
Ratia City Police Station told the youth that building a strong future is possible only through discipline, education and positive thinking. The police also informed the students present about the drug de-addiction helplines and treatment centers, so that anyone in need can get help.
This effort by the Ratia Police is a commendable step towards motivating the youth in the right direction and making the society drug free. This campaign will continue.
