Hoshiarpur: A press conference was held in Hoshiarpur under the supervision of District President Rajinder Shinda regarding the gunfire attack on the home of Shiv Sena Hindustan's Punjab Deputy President Rajinder Rana. Rahul Khanna, Shiv Sena Hindustan's Punjab Youth President, was a special attendee. District Chairman Vivek Vijan, District Secretary Pandit Mithlesh Garg, Aman Kumar, Sapna, Surjeet, and Ashok Mehra, MC Ward No. 4, also attended the event.
Speaking to reporters at the press conference, President Rahul Khanna stated that on 6-11-2025, some unidentified individuals attacked the home of Shiv Sena Hindustan's Punjab Deputy President Rajinder Rana in Hoshiarpur. Five to six bullets were fired and sharp-edged weapons were used to attack Rajinder Rana, his wife, and others, who escaped to save their lives.
Meanwhile, some young men in a Brezza car were attacked with weapons, and they managed to escape the scene. The unidentified attackers, who were in a Safari car, chased the car and continued firing bullets at them.
A bullet struck a young man in the head, and an elderly woman who was walking in the same car was killed. Despite such a tragic and horrific incident, the police administration is taking no action against the unidentified attackers. They demanded that a case be filed against them and they be arrested. Instead of filing cases under mild sections, the police administration appears to be protecting the attackers.
Today, Shiv Sena leaders are being attacked daily in Punjab, and instead of taking cognizance, the current government is dismissing them lightly. Every day, attacks by opponents and even broad daylight robberies of jewelers' shops are being carried out, and our government and administration are ignoring them instead of apprehending them. He said that the entire neighborhood has been reporting the shootings to the administration, but the police are not taking action. He added that according to information received, a young man was injured in the incident. Rahul Khanna said that he will meet with the SSP, Hoshiarpur, and demand strict action in this case.
