Chandigarh, May 21:- Union Minister of State for Cooperation Shri Krishan Pal Gujjar today formally inaugurated the construction work of a water pipe line for disposal and rainwater drainage on the road adjacent to the National Highway in Sector-28 under Ward-30 of Faridabad district at a cost of about Rs. 51 lakh.
Shri Krishan Pal Gujjar said that the problem of waterlogging on this road adjacent to the National Highway during the rainy season had been a problem for a long time, due to which the passers-by and local residents had to face a lot of trouble. He said that in view of the demand of the residents of the area and the seriousness of the problem, the work of laying disposal and water pipe lines has been started here on priority basis, which will ensure smooth water drainage during the monsoon.
The Union Minister of State for Cooperation said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, the Central and State Governments are working to give a new impetus to the overall development of the state. The priority of the government is not just to announce, but to take the development projects to the ground level within the stipulated time and bring their benefits to the common people.
He said that the government is continuously working in a planned manner to strengthen the infrastructure in urban and rural areas. Projects related to roads, sewage, water drainage, drinking water, electricity and other public amenities are being completed on priority basis so that better facilities are available to the citizens.
