Patiala (Manpreet Singh):- A religious ceremony dedicated to Bhagwan Valmiki Pragat Diwas was organised by the Bhagwan Valmiki Welfare Committee in New Basti Badungar, falling under Ward No. 54. The event was held under the supervision of President Gurnam Singh, Auditor Jeet Singh and Senior Vice-President Ram Bhajan. A havan yajna was performed in the morning, followed by the serving of continuous langar to devotees in the afternoon.
Senior BJP leader Roop Kumar Dhariwal and Ward No. 54 Councillor Jagmohan Chauhan attended the programme as special guests. The temple and surrounding area were beautifully decorated with flowers and attractive lighting.
On the occasion, singers Santosh Kumar, Davinder Kumar and Narinder immersed the devotees in an atmosphere of devotion through bhajans.
BJP leader Roop Kumar Dhariwal and Councillor Jagmohan Chauhan jointly said that everyone should follow the path shown by Bhagwan Valmiki Ji and incorporate his sacred thoughts and teachings into their lives. The teachings of Valmiki Ji convey the message of treating every human being equally and living together in mutual brotherhood.
