Nawanshahr:- The Nagar Kirtan to be organized by the Sangats of Nawanshahr and the entire district on November 28 from Gurdwara Manji Sahib Nawashahr dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Dhan Dhan Sahib Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji will be extraordinary and historic. These thoughts were presented by the Chief Sewadar of the Society, Surjit Singh, while addressing the Sangat while praying for the smooth completion of the three-day grand Gurmat Samagam dedicated to the martyrdom anniversary at Gurdwara Manji Sahib, the place where the holy feet of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji were touched.
All the devotees recited the path of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji at Gurdwara Manji Sahib in congregation today and after that, they thanked Guru Sahib for the unprecedented success of the Mahan Kirtan Darbar held at Guru Charan recently and prayed for the smooth completion of the upcoming event. On this occasion, the Chief Servant of the Society, Surjit Singh, said that the Hindu Sikh community has prepared a program to celebrate this event with great enthusiasm in Nawanshahr.
All the religious, social, educational and business organizations of the city are busy preparing for these events. To welcome the Nagar Kirtan starting from Gurdwara Manji Sahib on the first day of these events, the entire Hindu Sikh community and other organizations are making arrangements to set up welcome gates, hoardings and stalls for the devotees to eat and drink.
These organizations include District Trade Board Nawanshahr, Religious Festival Committee, Brahmin Sabha Nawanshahr, Arora Sabha (Regd.) Nawanshahr, Shiv Sena Punjab, Sahib Shri Kanshi Ram Samaj Bhalai Society Nawanshahr, Prem Nagar Welfare Society Nawanshahr, Shri Banke Bihari Gaushala Nawanshahr, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Vishwas Sewa Society, Doaba Sewa Samiti, A Plus Food, Prem Nagar Welfare Society, Punjab Sahitya Sabha Nawanshahr, IMA, Truck Union, Environment Conservation Committee, Awaaz Sewa Society, besides organizations and private institutions of different neighborhoods.
This Nagar Kirtan will reach ITI Ground Chandigarh Road after passing through different markets of the city, where Sangats from all over the area will also participate in the Nagar Kirtan. A religious stage will be set up in ITI where, apart from Katha Kirtan, Dhadi Vars, Gatka and horse racing will also be shown to the Sangat by the Guru's beloved troops. Food stalls are also being set up on a large scale for the Sangat at ITI. Personalities belonging to every religion of the area will also participate in this Nagar Kirtan.
Apart from these, invitations have also been sent to the Sangats from across the district to participate in this historical Nagar Kirtan. Apart from the Nagar Kirtan, in the Gurmat Samagams to be held on 29th and 30th November, the Sangats from the entire area will also pay homage at the Gurmat Samagams of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji at Gu: Manji Sahib and will enjoy the two-day Gurmat Samagams. The arrangements to hold these events on a large scale like the Mahan Kirtan Darbar have also been almost completed.
