Una, July 21:— With the aim of providing better employment and apprenticeship opportunities to the youth, a two-day placement and apprenticeship program will be organized at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Pandoga, on July 29 and 30.
ITI Principal Vishal Chaudhary stated that a joint campus placement drive would be held on July 29. Eligible female trainees from trades such as Sewing Technology, Dress Making, Embroidery, Fashion Design, and other related fields will participate in this drive. On this occasion, M/s Toyotsu Ambika Automotive Safety Components India Pvt. Ltd. will select suitable trainees.
Additionally, on July 30, a training and placement program for apprenticeships and direct on-roll employment will be conducted on the institute premises by GNA Gears Ltd. Eligible ITI trainees from trades including Machinist, Grinderman, Turner, Draftsman (Mechanical), Fitter, and Electrician will be able to participate in this recruitment process. The company will make selections based on its established recruitment procedure.
He noted that such placement programs offer trainees the opportunity to connect directly with reputed industrial organizations, thereby providing them with better employment and apprenticeship options.
