Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 2 December- As per the directions of the Punjab Government, a ‘Pensioner Seva Mela’ will be organised from 4 to 6 December 2025 at all three Treasury Offices of the district — Kharar, Dera Bassi and Mohali. The objective is to provide necessary e-KYC facility to all pensioners of the district so that they can complete their registration on the newly launched Pensioner Seva Portal.
Giving more details, Ms Renuka Katyal, District Treasury Officer, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, informed that the Punjab Government had launched a one-stop digital platform for all pension-related services on 3 November 2025. She said that for pensioners to register on the portal, it is mandatory to complete e-KYC. She requested all pensioners of the district to visit the respective Treasury Offices at Kharar, Dera Bassi and Mohali during the three-day mela to get their registration done and avail the benefit of smooth digital pension services.
She further informed that initially six major services will be provided to pensioners through this portal, which is available at https://pensionersewa.punjab.gov.in. These services include:
Submission of Digital Life Certificate through the ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ mobile app
Application for conversion of pension into family pension
Application for Leave Travel Concession
Registration of pension-related grievances
Updating/changing personal details of pensioners
The ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ mobile app is available on Android at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aadhaar.life and on iOS at https://apps.apple.com/in/app/jeevanpramaan/id6736359405.
She added that the process of availing these services is very simple and user-friendly. Pensioners can complete e-KYC through the Aadhaar authentication facility available on the portal and register themselves on the ‘Pensioner Seva Portal’. Once registered, they can avail all these services from home using their mobile phone, computer or laptop through their login ID. Apart from this, these services can also be availed by visiting the nearest Sewa Kendra, by requesting home delivery through helpline 1076, or by visiting the concerned pension-disbursing bank or the District Treasury Office.
