Patiala:- Today on 13-11-2025, the District Branch Forest Workers of the Class Fourth Government Employees Union staged a protest dharna against the non-fulfillment of their long-standing demands. Led by Jagmohan Singh Nolakha. State President Darshan Singh Lubana was especially present.
Not paying the remaining salaries of the workers, removing the workers from work on the pretext of 60 years of age, giving regular workers a lump sum of 15000/- 6 months ago, not giving any benefit to those who have worked for 40-45 years, walking home empty-handed, not implementing the decisions of the Honorable Court, regularizing the workers by breaking the norms, changing the workers' jobs, harassing them by sending them to far away places, etc. A protest was held over the demands.
Jagmohan Singh Nolakha announced that a permanent morcha would be held on 19-11-2025. This morcha will continue until the demands of the workers are met. On this occasion, Narang Singh, Head of Irrigation Department, Sukhdev Jhandi, Mata Kushlia Hospital, Gurdeep Singh, Tarlochan Maru, Darshan Malewal, Jaswinder Singh, Tarlochan Mandoli, Gurmel Bammana, Happy Nabha, Sabdil Kukki Samana, Presidents and Secretaries of various departments addressed the gathering.
