Banga:- In the results of MA English Semester-4 announced by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Parvinder Kaur, a student of the Postgraduate English Department of Sikh National College, Banga, has brought glory to the college by securing second position in the merit list of the university.
Giving this information, the principal of the college, Dr. Indu Ratti, said that according to the merit list issued by the university, Parvinder Kaur (daughter of S. Karnail Singh and Mrs. Kulwinder Kaur) has not only made her parents but also the college proud by securing 7.35 CGPA out of 10.
He said that this remarkable success of Parvinder Kaur will prove to be inspiring for other students as well. He said that this achievement is the result of her hard work, able guidance of the teachers and the high-level academic environment of the college. Dr. Indu Ratti congratulated Parvinder Kaur, her parents and teachers on this occasion and wished her a bright future.
Head of the English Department Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma said that Parvinder Kaur has always demonstrated her academic ability brilliantly. He said that with this achievement, the Postgraduate English Department has so far secured more than 30 places in the merit list of Guru Nanak Dev University, which is a symbol of the excellent academic tradition of the department, dedicated teachers and commitment to quality education.
