Una, May 5: The Una District Administration has implemented a partial revision in the timings of all government and private schools within the district. According to the revised orders issued by District Magistrate Jatin Lal, effective May 6, all pre-primary, primary, middle, and senior secondary schools in the district will operate from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Under previously issued orders, school timings had been fixed from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM; this schedule has now undergone a partial revision.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that, in light of this change in timings, necessary adjustments—specifically by reducing the duration of the morning prayer assembly and the lunch break—may be made to compensate for academic instructional time as required. This revised arrangement will remain in effect until further orders are issued. Furthermore, all school managements have been directed to ensure strict compliance with these orders.
