Kharar (SAS Nagar), July 1:- In a significant boost to the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 campaign of the Election Commission of India, Padma Shri awardee Shri Prem Singh set an inspiring example by submitting his Enumeration Form, along with those of his family members, under the revision exercise from the Kharar Assembly Constituency.
Appreciating his proactive participation, the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer, SAS Nagar, Komal Mittal said that the involvement of eminent personalities in the electoral roll revision campaign serves as a source of inspiration for the public and reinforces the importance of ensuring an accurate and inclusive electoral roll.
The District Administration appealed to all eligible electors to actively participate in the ongoing SIR-2026 exercise by filling and submitting their Enumeration Forms within the stipulated timeframe (June 25 to July 24, 2026). Citizens have also been urged to cooperate with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) during the door-to-door verification process to facilitate the preparation of a complete, error-free and updated electoral roll.
