Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, July 7:- The online registration process for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for Class VI for the academic session 2027-2028 has begun, and the last date to apply is 31.07.2026.
To provide modern and quality education, the PM SHRI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Rakauli (a co-educational residential school run by the Government of India in Rakauli village, Mohali district), has initiated the online registration process for admission into Class VI for the upcoming academic year 2027-2028. Students currently studying in Class V during the academic session 2026-2027 are eligible to fill out the form.
Providing further details, the Principal stated that the parents of the students must be permanent residents of Mohali district, and the student must be currently studying in Class V. The student's date of birth must be between 01.05.2015 and 31.07.2017 (both dates inclusive). Students belonging to the OBC category should check at the Seva Kendra whether they fall under the Central List for OBCs in Punjab. If they do not, they should register under the General category.
He mentioned that the last date to register via the online links https://navodaya.gov.in and https://cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs/?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1 is 31.07.2026. The selection test will be held on 28.11.2026 at various examination centers in Mohali district. He advised that all terms and conditions mentioned in the prospectus should be read carefully before proceeding with the registration.
