Patiala:- The last Monday of the month of Sawan was celebrated with great pomp and show at the ancient temple of Shri Kedar Nath with the support of Sudhar Sabha Shri Kedar Nath Ji and devotees. A large gathering of devotees was seen in the temple from the morning itself. First of all, Danveer Singh came from New Officers Colony Patiala and served langar of kachori and halwa. After the story of Shiv Maha Pran, all the members of Sudhar Sabha along with their families and devotees participated in the havan and purva ahuti.
At 12 o'clock, the life of Bhandara, the owners of Tejbagh Colony and all the members of Sudhar Sabha together offered prasad in the temple and served it to the sangat. This langar continued till about 4 o'clock. After this, Jagdish Arora Ji and Sons and all the members of Sudhar Sabha arranged for Kheer Pura Prasad to be served to the idol of Vishal Shiv Ji and on this occasion, Mahant Hari Das Ji Chaure Wale especially started the service. Rajindra was also sent to Hospital Patiala.
After the aarti, the devotees of the temple were served without fail. Langar and Prasad service continued from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Many people from outside used to say that we did not know about this temple when the idol was built and religious programs and Langar Prasad are served without fail. The importance of the temple to the devotees is increasing day by day.
Especially Jeevan Ji and Jagdish Arora Ji praised Sudhar Sabha that we had brought rations and they made special arrangements for us to prepare the utensils, dishes, chairs, especially sound etc. Especially retired Pandit Ashwani Sharma and current priest Shri Narinder Pandit Ji said that we have never seen such gatherings and so many langar stores in the month of Sawan. This temple has a lot of glory in Patiala by the grace of Bhole Baba Ji.
The members of Sudhar Sabha keep serving day and night with their body, mind and wealth. The cooperation of the devotees is also getting a lot. Founder Satnam Hasija thanked everyone.
