Una, February 6 (Rajinder Kumar):- The Youth Unity Mahasabha Himachal Pradesh will hold a demonstration in Una on February 17 to press for various demands, including the elimination of caste discrimination and the filling of vacant reserved posts in universities. The organization has appealed to all its members and young people to participate in this program in large numbers.
The organization's state president, Amit Valmiki, said that the vacant posts reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes in universities should be filled immediately. He also demanded the abolition of the contract system and the creation of permanent employment opportunities for unemployed youth.
He also called upon the government and society to take concrete steps together to make Himachal Pradesh drug-free. According to the organization, a peaceful rally will be taken out from MC Park, Una, at 10 am on February 17, and a memorandum will be submitted to the administration. This program is being described as an important step towards the rights of youth and social equality.
