Hoshiarpur:- Press Secretary of Rotary Club Hoshiarpur Central, Naresh Kumar Saba, informed through a press statement that a special function was organized by the club at 'Hotel Fine Dining', Hoshiarpur under the leadership of Club President Rajan Kumar Saini and Secretary Harshwinder Singh. In this function, State Awardee Jarnail Singh Dhir was specially honored by the Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur on behalf of the club by presenting him a shawl and a garland of flowers on becoming the 'District Member Disability' for the fourth time. On this occasion, all the members of the club were honored by Club President Rajan Kumar Saini and Secretary Dr. Harshwinder Singh by presenting them gifts.
On this occasion, senior club member and former Assistant Governor, Bhupinder Kumar praised Jarnail Singh Dhir and his entire team, including Naresh Kumar Handa, former DLLC member, Hoshiarpur, The National Trust (Government of India Undertaking), District President Manjit Singh Lucky, Kamaljit Singh (Grade-2 Officer), former Principal Jamnadas, Advocate Gurbaksh Singh Multani, Kulwant Singh Dhakkowal, for raising the voice of persons with disabilities and senior citizens.
On this occasion, Naresh Kumar Handa said that Jarnail Singh Dhir has dedicated 50 years of his life to the service of persons with disabilities and has been making all efforts to enforce the rights of senior citizens for the last 12 years.
On this occasion, Kuldeep Singh, State Awardee, a member of the Rotary Club and Senior Citizens Committee, said that Jarnail Singh Dhir has created awareness among the general public by honoring officers, employees, and common people, numbering more than 5,000, who solve the problems of disabled persons and senior citizens. This is a huge task; not everyone can do it.
On this occasion, club members Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Amandeep Singh, Vishwa Bandhu, Vijay Kumar Purani Bassi, Naresh Kumar Saba, Naresh Kumar Handa, Bhupinder Kumar, Harshwinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh Patti, Jarnail Singh Dhir, and others were also present.
