Una, November 26- Night patrolling in Una district has been further tightened. District Magistrate Una Jatin Lal has issued orders to this effect. These orders have been issued to prevent any possible movement of anti-social elements, illegal weapons, and contraband in the district at night, and to maintain public peace and harmony. 
The orders issued by the DC under Section 14 of the Himachal Pradesh Police Act, 2007 and Section 163 of the BNSS have been implemented with immediate effect.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that strengthening night patrolling is essential, giving top priority to public safety and law and order. Consequently, elaborate arrangements have been implemented to make night patrolling in the district more systematic and effective.

**Night patrolling to be strengthened**
He stated that the Additional District Magistrate, all Sub-Divisional Magistrates, and the Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars of the respective areas will conduct night patrols in their respective areas daily. These teams will be accompanied by the respective SDPOs and adequate police force, ensuring more effective and comprehensive patrolling.

**Intensive Vehicle Checks**
During night patrols, vehicles will be specifically checked and immediate action will be taken to prevent illegal weapons, prohibited items, and other contraband under the Arms Act, 1959.

**Zero Tolerance for Illegal Activities**
The Deputy Commissioner stated that strict action will be taken under the BNSS, Arms Act, and other relevant laws against individuals found disturbing public peace or engaging in any illegal activity. If necessary, Superintendents of Police will also provide additional police forces to the subdivisions to ensure smooth patrolling.

**Instructions for Strict Compliance to Officers**
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal has directed all concerned officers to ensure strict compliance with the issued orders. He stated that the district administration's objective is to provide a safe, peaceful, and law-abiding environment in Una.
