Hoshiarpur:- Today, the NHM Employee Union Hoshiarpur surrounded the office of Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh. Under which, a continuous dharna was held for the fifth day at the Civil Surgeon's Office under the leadership of District President Mrs. Neetu Sarmal and slogans were raised. Protests were also expressed against the government. About 100 employees from all over the district gathered and a protest march was taken out from Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur to the office of Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot.
During the protest march, when the NHM employees reached Dr. Ravjot's office, the office employees locked it from the front. As usual, the employees shouted slogans and protested. On this occasion, the police were called from the city police station, but the anger of the employees was so great that even the police failed to stop them.
The office staff informed that the Cabinet Minister is currently in Delhi. Then in his absence, the demand letter was taken by the District President of Aam Aadmi Party Gurvinder Singh Pabla and the demands of the employees were heard. The Cabinet Minister's PA Lovedeep Singh assured that your demands will be resolved on priority basis. District President Mrs. Neetu Sarmal informed that the protest will continue at the Civil Surgeon's office until the demands are met. On this occasion, Sumit Sharma, Tarunjit Kumar, Mohammad Asif, Binny Malhotra, Sandeep Kumar, Harmesh Kumar, Parampreet Pal Kaur, Dr. Archana etc. were present.
