Jalandhar:- Under the leadership of Honorable Vice Chancellor of IKG PTU Prof (Dr) Susheel Mittal, a new Admission Committee was formed to make the admission process of the university more smooth and transparent.
The Vice Chancellor himself will work as the chairman of this committee, while Dean Academic Dr Yadwinder Singh Brar has been appointed as the Chief Coordinator.
On this occasion, an Admission Cell was also established which will provide information to the students about courses, eligibility, fee structure and career opportunities.
During this, the Honorable Vice Chancellor also launched the online admission portal of the university. He said that this portal will make the admission process easy and transparent and will facilitate students from across the country to apply online. He said that complete information about courses, eligibility, fees and career opportunities is available on the portal.
Senior faculty members, deans and heads of various departments were also present during this event and all assured to make the admission drive successful.
This initiative is being considered as an important step towards the academic development of the university.
