Ratia, September 11:- Selection trials for the Haryana state Gatka team for the National Gatka Championship will be held at 9 a.m. on September 12 at Guru Nanak Defence and Sports Academy, Ratia (District Fatehabad).
Gatka Association President Swarn Singh Ratia said that players will be selected in these selection trials for the Single Soti, Free Soti and Demonstration events. Boys and girls in the Under-11, Under-14, Under-17, Under-19, Under-25 and Under-30 age categories will be eligible to participate in the trials.
He said that a large number of Gatka players from different districts of Haryana will arrive to participate in these selection trials. The selected players will represent the state of Haryana at the national-level championship.
