Mayor Renu Bala Gupta stated that the age limit for registering a child's name on birth certificates was 15 years, but the Haryana government has now relaxed this limit. Citizens will now be able to register their child's name after 15 years, but they must apply offline only.
She added that the time limit for registering a child's name on the Saral portal for online registration is still limited to 15 years. Therefore, citizens should apply offline and take advantage of this facility.
