Hansi: Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal, a special cleanliness drive was conducted by the Municipal Council in the Jind Road area with the objective of making Hansi city clean and beautiful. The campaign was led by Sanitary Inspector Sanjay Kumar. During this drive, the Municipal Council team took action against individuals littering the road and issued five challans.
Sanitary Inspector Sanjay Kumar stated that the Municipal Council is continuously running campaigns to improve the sanitation system in the city. During an inspection on Jind Road, some people were found throwing garbage in public places, and challans were issued against them as per the rules. He mentioned that littering in public spaces not only affects the city's aesthetic but also has an adverse impact on the environment and public health.
He stated that the Municipal Council teams are regularly inspecting sanitation in various areas, and strict action is being taken wherever cases of causing filth or violating sanitation rules are reported. Citizens are also being made aware of the importance of maintaining cleanliness.
Sanjay Kumar appealed to the citizens not to throw garbage haphazardly. He said that a clean and beautiful Hansi is only possible when the administration and the public work together to make this campaign a success.
Municipal Council officials clarified that campaigns against those violating sanitation rules will continue in the future, and action will be taken against the offenders as per the rules. The objective of the Municipal Council is not just to issue challans but to develop a sense of responsibility and awareness toward hygiene among citizens so that the city can be made clean and pollution-free.
During the campaign, the Municipal Council team conducted a comprehensive cleaning drive on both sides of Jind Road, removing accumulated garbage, polythene, plastic waste, and other debris from the roadside. The sanitation staff also cleaned the drains to prevent waterlogging during the rainy season. 
Additionally, special cleaning was done in public places and market areas, and people were made aware of the need to maintain cleanliness. Municipal Council officials appealed to shopkeepers and local residents to maintain cleanliness around their establishments and homes and to dispose of waste only at designated places.
