Hoshiarpur:- In order to encourage the students to get education as well as to get involved in social welfare works, to understand the problems of the society and the area around them and discuss with the people to solve them, to help poor families and encourage them to get education, to create awareness about the importance of blood donation, eye donation and organ donation in the society, a special program has been planned by the Government College Hoshiarpur in collaboration with the eminent social service organization Netar Dan Association Hoshiarpur.
Under this campaign, a special team of students reached the eminent social welfare organization Ram Charit Manas Prachar Mandal. On this occasion, eminent social worker and retired civil surgeon Dr. Ajay Bagga while talking to the students said that the main goal of the students is to realize their dreams by getting education and creating awareness about social welfare works during studies will prove helpful in making life even better. They also shared their experiences in the field of social service and created special awareness regarding blood donation and life donation.
They also gave detailed information about the work being done by Ram Charit Manas Prachar Mandal.
Professor Bahadur Singh Sunet said that for the all-round development of the youth, educational institutions are taking efforts to provide quality education to the students as well as to encourage them for human values, ethics and social welfare works.
