Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, October 30: Shri Harmandeep Singh Hans, IPS Senior Superintendent of Police District SAS Nagar while giving information said that Mohali Police, while taking action against anti-social elements, has succeeded in arresting 04 accused and recovering 05 illegal weapons (one pistol .45 bore and 04 pistols .32 bore along with live cartridges) and Rs. 01 lakh 99 thousand in cash from them.
Shri Harmandeep Singh Hans, IPS further informed that on 24-10-2025, the police party of CIA staff was present on the Kharar-Mullanpur Airport Road when the CIA staff team received information that Danveer son of Pritam Singh and Bunty son of Brij Bihari, residents of village Chhata, district Mathura, UP, are supplying illegal arms to Punjab and other states. They are also going to supply illegal arms/ammunition to Krishna alias Happy Gujjar, resident of village Nada and Sikander Sheikh, resident of Maharashtra Hall, resident of tenant Mullanpur, Garibdas, on the Kharar-Mullanpur Airport Road in vehicle no. 24 BH 8220 C, brand XUV300, color white. Based on the information, a case No. 345 dated 24-10-2025 under Section 25-54-59 Arms Act was registered against the accused at Police Station Sadar Kharar.
Name and address of the accused:-
1. Accused Danveer son of Pritam Singh resident of Shergarh Chauraha Chhata, Police Station Chhata, District Mathura, UP whose age is around 26 years, who is 10th class passed and is unmarried. Cases related to murder, robbery, Arms Act and ATM breaking have been registered against the accused in Haryana, UP and Rajasthan.
2. Accused Bunty son of Brij Bihari resident of Shergarh Chauraha Chhata, Police Station Chhata, District Mathura, UP whose age is around 26 years, who is 12th class passed and is married.
3. Accused Sikander Sheikh son of Rashid Sheikh resident of Karur Road village Mohol police station Mohol, district Solapur, Maharashtra, resident of Golu Koch da Akhara village Mullanpur Garibdas, district SAS Nagar, aged about 26 years, who has done BA degree and is married. Accused Sikander Sheikh is an international wrestler and was recruited in the army on sports quota. Who has later left the job.
4. Accused Krishan Kumar alias Happy Gujjar son of Sher Singh resident of village Nada, police station Nawangao, district SAS Nagar, aged 22 years, who has passed 12 classes and is unmarried. A case of fight has been registered against the accused at police station Nawangao earlier also.

Details of interrogation of the accused:-
On interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that the accused Danveer, against whom cases of murder, robbery, Arms Act and ATM breaking have been registered in Haryana, UP and Rajasthan earlier. Danveer is a member of Papla Gujjar gang. This gang is active in Haryana and UP and other states. Danveer used to bring arms from UP and MP and supply them to Punjab. On 24-10-2025, Danveer along with his accomplice Bunty had come to supply arms to accused Sikander Sheikh and Krishan Kumar alias Happy Gujjar in vehicle no. 24 BH 8220 C.
The two accused were arrested from nearby Gopal Sweets Airport Chowk and on the spot accused Sikander Sheikh who had come to purchase arms was also arrested along with the amount of Rs. 01 lakh 99 thousand for purchasing arms. Accused Krishan Kumar alias Happy Gujjar was arrested on 26-10-2025. The accused who are under police remand are being raided in UP, Haryana on their other accomplices. There is a possibility of more recovery from them.
