Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, December 18, 2025:- As per the directions of Harmandeep Singh Hans, Senior Superintendent of Police, District SAS Nagar, during the campaign launched by District Mohali Police against bad elements, Shri Saurav Jindal PPS. Captain of Police (Investigation), Shri Talwinder Singh PPS Captain of Police (Operation), Shri Rajan Parminder Singh PPS Deputy Captain of Police (Investigation) District SAS Nagar Inspector Harminder Singh Incharge CIA staff team has succeeded in arresting 03 accused and recovering 02 gold chains, 04 mobile phones, laptop and dummy pistol used in the incidents and Nishan traino car stolen from them.
According to Sourav Jindal, Superintendent of Police (Investigation), on 12-12-2025, on the basis of the statements of Rohit John son of Ashok Masih, resident of House No. 22 Designer Villa, Sector-125, Sunny Enclave, Kharar, a case No. 309 dated 12-12-2025 under Sections 304, 317(2) BNS & 25-54-59 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Sohana against 03 unknown car occupants that on the midnight of 25/26-11-2025, he and his friend Atul Sharma were standing on Sector-84 Mohali Road in their vehicle No. CH01-CD-2202, brand Creta, color white.
 Then a vehicle, brand Duster PB 41, from which three youths got down, came to us. One of them was a young man with a pistol, who threatened him and his friend, snatched their gold chains and both their mobile phones, brand iPhone 16, purses and their car, brand Creta, at gunpoint.
The stolen Creta car was found in an unclaimed condition in the area of ????the city Samrala. The CIA staff team, with the help of technical and human resources, took action and arrested the following accused on 15-12-2025 from Industrial Area Sector-82 Mohali.

Details of the seizure:-
1. Car used in the incident Nishan Traino.
2. Dummy pistol used in the incident.
3. 02 stolen gold chains.
4. 04 Mobile Phones (02 Mobile Phones Brand iPhone 16 (Iphone16), 01 Phone Oppo (OPPO), One Phone Brand Samsung (Samsung).
5. 01 Laptop HP (HP.)

Interrogated Accused:-
1. Accused Gurvinder Singh alias Guri son of Swaranjit Singh resident of village Powat, police station Machhiwara Sahib, district Ludhiana whose age is 33 years, who has passed 12 classes and is unmarried. No case has been registered against the accused earlier.
2. Accused Bikram Singh alias Gora son of Jinder Singh resident of village Powat, police station Machhiwara Sahib, district Ludhiana whose age is about 26 years. Who has passed 12 classes and is unmarried. No case has been registered against the accused earlier.
3. Accused Harmanpreet Singh alias Gagana son of Manjinder Singh resident of village Powat, police station Machhiwara Sahib, district Ludhiana whose age is about 31 years, who He has passed 10 classes and is married. Earlier, 02 cases of illegal liquor and drug smuggling have been registered against the accused in Samrala police station.

Details of the incidents committed by the accused in addition to the above incident:-
1. On the midnight of 06/07-12-2025, the accused, riding a Nishan train, stopped a Swift vehicle in front of Manav Mangal School in Mohali city and snatched two persons' mobile phones by showing them a dummy pistol.
2. On 09-12-2025, at night, the accused, in the area of ??Railway Line Sector-81 Mohali, threatened a girl and a boy sitting in a side Alto vehicle on the road with a dummy pistol and snatched a laptop brand HP.
3. Then on 09-12-2025, the accused went to the village near Chilla Manauli. A boy and a girl sitting in a car were shown a dummy pistol and Rs 11,000 were transferred to Google Pay.

The interrogation of the accused revealed that the accused used to carry out robberies by threatening passersby and car occupants with a dummy pistol. The accused are under police remand, who are being questioned about other incidents. More arrests are likely to be made from them.
