Zirakpur, September 7:- MLA from the Derabassi constituency S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa today held important meetings with officials of the concerned departments in the meeting hall of Zirakpur Municipal Council regarding the development of the city, electricity supply, law and order, and the resolution of various problems faced by the people.
During these meetings, in the presence of Tehsildar S. Birkaran Singh, discussions were held with the Municipal Council President, MCs, ward in-charges, Municipal Council officials and staff members regarding development works in the city and providing better facilities to the people.
In addition, MLA Randhawa held a meeting with the police administration officials of the sub-division, including the ASP Zirakpur, and discussed in detail various issues related to the city’s law and order situation, traffic management and public safety.
During the meeting with officials of the Electricity Department, issues related to electricity supply in Zirakpur, electrical infrastructure and difficulties faced by the people were discussed. MLA Randhawa directed the officials to resolve people’s electricity-related problems on priority and take necessary steps to make the electricity supply more efficient.
MLA S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that work is being carried out in coordination with all departments to ensure the overall development of Zirakpur, public safety, better basic facilities and smooth administration. He said that resolving people’s problems on time and accelerating the city’s development works is his priority.
