Sangrur, 3 September:- Strengthening the road infrastructure of Sangrur city further, MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj got started various road development works costing a total of Rs. 1.21 crore. Under these, work of reconstruction of road from in front of petrol pump to Union Bank on Ubhawal Road and from Ubhawal crossing to tubewell at a cost of Rs. 76.04 lakh was started. Along with this, reconstruction work of Hareri Road at a cost of Rs. 45 lakh was also started.
MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, development works are continuously going on in Sangrur city to provide better roads and strong basic infrastructure to the people. She said that with the reconstruction of these roads, residents of the area will get great facility in transportation and daily commuters will get relief.
The MLA said that special attention is being given by the Punjab Government to improve basic facilities in urban areas and development works are being completed on priority basis as per the needs of the people.
On this occasion, MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj thanked the Chairman and MCs including the entire Aam Aadmi Party team present at the start of road development works.
