Zirakpur, March 9: MLA Mr. Kuljit Singh Randhawa launched the construction work of the road from Baltana Main Bazaar to Panchkula Sector-19, fulfilling a long-standing demand of the residents of Baltana area falling within the limits of Zirakpur Municipal Council.
This road will be constructed with interlocking tiles and the project will cost about Rs. 1 crore. The construction of the road will provide great relief to the people of the area in terms of traffic and will solve a long-standing problem.
On this occasion, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to strengthening the infrastructure in the state. He said that the legitimate demands of the people are being fulfilled on priority basis and many more development projects will be brought in the coming time for the development of the area.
He said that the government is continuously making efforts to improve roads, water, sewerage and other basic facilities so that the people can be provided with better facilities.
The entire team of Aam Aadmi Party, local leaders and officials of the Municipal Council were also present on this occasion.
