Hoshiarpur:- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa laid the foundation stone for the installation of a water supply pipeline in Wards 23, 24, and 25 of Hoshiarpur. This project, estimated to cost around ?50 lakh, will ensure the provision of clean and regular drinking water to the residents of these areas. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Jimpa stated that the Punjab Government is continuously striving to provide excellent basic amenities to the general public.
He informed that the work is being executed by the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board, and its completion will provide much-needed relief to the local residents who have been facing water issues for a long time. He further added that under various schemes, several important projects are being implemented to strengthen the water supply and sewerage systems in the city, which will give a new impetus to urban development. He directed the officials to ensure that the work is completed on time and meets high-quality standards.
