Hoshiarpur: While initiating road construction work in Ward No. 31—estimated to cost approximately ?20 lakhs—MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa stated that the Punjab government has ensured the provision of all basic amenities across the entire state over the past four years, thereby transforming the landscape of both urban and rural areas.
MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa remarked that, in every locality of Hoshiarpur city, public welfare initiatives have been implemented on a large scale; these include the construction of roads and streets, as well as the installation of tube wells to ensure a clean water supply. He noted that development works have been continuously undertaken in all parts of the city in response to public demand, and this process will continue in the future to ensure that essential basic amenities remain available to the people.
MLA Jimpa asserted that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the state's infrastructure has been significantly strengthened—a development that is yielding immense benefits for the common people. He added that the road currently being constructed in Ward No. 31 will prove to be a major convenience for local residents, making their daily commute and movement much smoother.
He further stated that development works are being expedited by prioritizing the demands and needs of the people. MLA Jimpa issued directives to the concerned officials to ensure that the construction work is completed within the stipulated timeframe and to the highest standards of quality.
